Under clear blue skies and surrounded by the crisp freshness of spring, Maddie + Nic celebrated a wedding day filled with meaning, beauty, and joy. With gorgeous spring weather, a heartfelt ceremony, and a celebration full of love and laughter, this wedding was one for the books.
The day began at The Greenhouse at Bittersweet, with Maddie and her bridal party getting ready in the charming bridal loft. The morning was full of anticipation, laughter, and sweet moments between friends and family. Meanwhile, Nic and his groomsmen shared a few moments and laughs as they suited up.
Maddie’s bridal bouquet was nothing short of stunning. Featuring lush ranunculus blooms, it perfectly captured the fresh, romantic feeling of spring. The soft pastel tones and delicate textures made it a true showstopper and complemented the natural beauty of The Greenhouse at Bittersweet.
After a peaceful morning at the venue, the wedding party made their way to the Roncalli Newman Center for a beautiful Catholic ceremony. The unique circular shape of the sanctuary, combined with the couple's deep connection, made for an emotional and meaningful exchange of vows with a very personal and intimate feel. With marriage advice from both the longest married couple and newest married couple, Maddie + Nic began their married life surrounded by family and close friends, in a ceremony rooted in love and faith.
Following the ceremony, guests made their way to The Greenhouse at Bittersweet, one of the most sought-after La Crosse wedding venues. With its lush greenery and open-air feel the venue was absolutely perfect for a spring wedding celebration.
Adding a fun personal touch, the groom made a memorable entrance to the reception wearing a cowboy hat. The couple’s and wedding party’s grand entrance was certainly one to remember. The guests were all smiling and cheering, setting the tone for a lively and energetic evening.
One of the most touching parts of the night was the heartfelt speeches given by both mothers of the couple. Their words were full of love, pride, and many happy tears, reminding everyone of the importance of family and the depth of a mother’s love.
As the evening continued, the couple shared a delicious cheesecake and guests enjoyed delicious and refreshing ice cream from The Pearl.
From the moment the music started, the wedding party brought an incredible amount of energy to the dance floor. Every photo captured the pure joy and excitement of the night. Surrounded by so many close friends, the celebration felt intimate, heartfelt, and completely unforgettable.
